If you not have dropped by my site lately we have added several new garden tools to our back-to-basics American Heritage Series. We now carry a reproduction of the famous Planet Junior push plows, with all the attachments. We also have the new version of the GrainMaker grain Mill including the new 10 cup model 116. We just became dealers for the Family Grain Mill as well.

We have also added a new line of American handcrafted leather holsters

We are planning a new product tour in June and will be traveling the Amish communities in Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvanian, if anyone is looking for new products give me a shout and we will see what we can find.

Our site is http://www.cottagecraftworks.com

Come by and take a tour of our back-to-basics non electric general store.

Thanks

Liz

When will you be in PA, and where about? It's only about 1.5 hours from me to Lancaster County. (Or more specifically, Sight and Sound theater) I'm not sure how long it is, but less than 2 hours to New Holland, and about the same to the Shady Maple Restaurant, about 1.5-2 hours to the outlet stores. Depending on what I have going on, and when you're there, I might be able to talk my hubby into taking a drive.

Which Amish communities in Ohio are you going visit? The Sugarcreek/Millersburg area or the Middlefield area?

Sugar Creek area, unless you know of some products we might be interested in looking at. We are going over in to Lancaster County PA, we already work with one Amish gentleman from that area, haven't been able to spend much time there.

Sorry, Big Brown Horse I didn't realize I couldn't post to each message. No we don't have a store front as yet, we do have a retail outlet in a store just for our CCW Hunting and Game Calls. We do build some of our products here in our own shop, mostly we build prototypes and then have an Amish group build for us. All of our other items are ordered and shipped from our cottage partner shops. Our custom built items like furniture are actually built from scratch. Hoping to introduce a reproduction thread spool cabinet both in built and kit forms after this upcoming trip.

Our ultimate dream is to open a full line old time general store. Right now we are searching and looking for the best back-to-basic products to put in that store. Our next decision is where that store will be. That will coincide with were we will ultimately decide to retire. Do we want to stay in the Hurricane path or I guess now the Tornado alley?, it will be a southern state and maybe the Texas Hill Country although Tenn seems to be attractive. That is still a few years off.
