Hi everyone, I came over from TEG and had to join this forum too. Let me tell you a little bit about me, my family and our little farm: I'm a 33 year old stay at home mom, I have the most amazing husband (who builds things for a livivg...and for me) and we've been married for 15 years. We have 4 kids, Gabe is 10 and has autism, Aislyn is 9, Ian is also 9 and also has autism, and Lily is 3. We moved from California to Texas 5 years ago and bought our 10 acre property last summer. We have a flock of a dozen egg layers (Easter Eggers and Buff Orps), a brooder full of EE chicks, an incubator full of Copper Marans eggs, 3 Nubian goats for milk and 2 New Zealand does and a Californian buck for meat rabbits. We also have 2 really bad dogs and a pregnant cat. I have a giant 80'x80' garden this year plus a small 5'x10' herb garden close to the house. I was born and raised a city girl, but I was always a farm girl at heart. Now I'm living my dream and planning for the future (oh yes, I dream of cattle) here on our land.
