youre right, im sure they're egrets... i wasnt thinking about that. we have a couple spots where subsurface springs break the surface in the late winter/spring/early summer and lots of wildlife take advantage. the peeper frogs come out as soon as it starts to warm, and for a while, they are deafening in the evenings. im sure the herons and egrets are after them with a vengeance.
