Still have my 20+ year old Sunset Garden book, I am still learning from it. As for potatoes the price here has doubled. I recall from some where an interview with a major potato grower that they won't eat the potatoes they grow commercially because of all the poisons they apply and have a seperate plot for their family.

That makes me really happy that I have a big area set aside for potatos on my garden plan. :sick
