I am cracking down on processed food and sugar at my house. I've been a little too laid back about it this winter. I've gained weight and I feel like bleh. My parents do not respect my wishes when it comes to junk food for my daughter, and they are our neighbors. This makes it hard but I'm doing this.

Yes that was actually one of our major deciding factors! And less time of 100% hay/grain feeding. 6 months of the year or so there is nothing for the animals to forage for here.

I'm waiting for my buckling.... Getting closer! The woman has had 12 bucks and 2 does this year. She has an AMAZING mini alpine (50/50) boy. He even has blue eyes. He's also related to my girls, grrr! 2 weeks and the first doe I'm waiting on is due.

Went to see piglets today, our friend who we get pigs from has 8 week olds and 1 week olds. So darn cute!

It's still cold and we have 2 feet of snow on the ground so.... I feel like everything I want to do is on hold. Still. Sigh.

Good mama. She is the mother of my gilts as well. She let my 4 year old daughter play with her piglets! Good pig!

I like the spotted ones the best too! There was one spotted one in this litter, I think he's hiding. It's funny to see the colors in these guys because they're a mix of 3 breeds.
