Yes it was. She thought she was going to lose her leg, have to stay overnight in the hospital... Then she was panicked about stitches... I've realized some of her ADHD behavior is actually anxiety.

And DH is in trouble. I get that we have a working homestead here but I've been bugging him about having a safe yard for kids, and he needs to get his butt in gear and organize his crap before I do. And if I do, I'll call someone to come take it. He wouldn't be very happy with me.

Ahhhhh - poor darling! I can understand being annoyed...gotta have a good, safe place for the kiddos to hang out. Scrap metal bring good prices up there? :hide

Sorry to hear of her cut and glad that it was controlled well.

DH will do his part. He doesn't want to have these injuries either. Just a little reminder will probably alert him to the dangers a young one may not see.:hugs

I hope she heals up ok. Maybe this is the wake up call for your husband that he needs to clean things up.

Sorry to hear about the little one's injury. It's so scary when you're that young (for the moms too!) Hope she'll make a speedy recovery and DH will be very cooperative in making the yard safe for her and the baby.

Oh no worries about needing gentle reminders, DH is a feisty Irish redhead who was adopted by blunt, in your face Italians. He's good with not so gentle reminders, lol. And he's working on his truck so he can run to the scrap yard. It's all good! (scrap prices are terrible though! )

Just found out our neighbors are going to sell their house next year. Ugh!! They're cool, they don't bother us and we don't bother them. There's thick woods between us but a bit close for comfort if bad neighbors move in! Ugh.

If you move onto your parents property, maybe it won't matter.
