Energy? I have none of that. Just trying to power through so we can get to a point where we can relax.

Should have goat kids in February, piglets in March (or we'll have meat in the freezer in March if she fails us!), sheep will be sheared in March... this year we're focusing on the garden, getting bees, and I'll be looking for a ram in the fall. No meat birds, no intentional hatches. Yay. If mamas want to go broody, they can do the work!

And somewhere in all that madness DD2 has a birthday! It's getting close isn't it? This month? Or am I totally crazy?

The 4th! I'm not doing a big thing. What does a 1 year old care? Cake, a couple presents... unpacking... lol

I am happy that you have all those boxes to unpack. You can say ugh all you want, commiserate your misery here, but I am celebrating for you. You will get it all done. For the life of me, since we close everything down for a couple inches of snow, how in the heck do you do all the stuff you do when it is so darn COLD? Mine and FEM's blood would freeze. LOL

DH's friend just got here, he's going to get him to help move the washer and dryer. Whether he likes it or not, lol.

DH has this thing about him that makes people tell him their life story. We know who has a past addiction problem , one guy's bipolar, another guy is dating a girl whose dad is in jail, we know who gets along with who, who screwed up the last job... and more! Lol.

Currently the electrician is dropping f-bombs while my daughters are within earshot. DH fired him from the extra generator work but contractually he has to finish one last thing. Oy.

At least DH and his friend are moving my washer and dryer.

My DH is the same way... people tell him everything. They call him Father Confessor at the hospital, lol!

But, that electrician needs some electrical tape across his mouth....grrrr.
