Ok I don't normally share super personal things on here. For one, most people don't care and for two, I am a very private person. But I'm making an exception because this is really bothering me... And heck maybe someone can contribute, I don't know.

My husband and I have been trying for a second child for 9 months. Nothing. At my age (just turned 33) everything says to wait for a year before seeing a doctor. So I haven't called yet. But, I just found out that ibuprofen can cause infertility... I have chronic migraines and probably take more ibuprofen than I should. I knew you couldn't take it while you were pregnant, but why in the heck did I not know this??? I've also been told by a natural doctor type person a LONG time ago that my adrenals are pretty much fried. So, I'm thinking I need to make some life changes here.

I have the best of intentions when it comes to clean eating, etc. But my husband is a junk food junkie and my mother is not helpful about cruddy food (has been a major issue when it comes to my daughter). So, need to make some gradual changes...

I did not know that about ibuprofen either. I'm a bit surprised now, it's such a common drug, they really should make people aware of possible serious side-effects like this!

:hugs

This should be shared far and wide… There are so many couples trying to conceive and probably not realising that taking an over the counter drug could do this.

I suffer from sinus headaches, quite severe ones at times, I take codeine when it gets real bad. It makes me a bit loopy, but it helps! Would that be an option for you for "now and then"? Or maybe your doctor could recommend something for you.

I've been on migraine meds, the ones approved for pregnancy do not help, found that out when I was pregnant! The other one I was on before, I believe may also be an NSAID. I would have to do more research to remember.

I can't help ya, I am infertile and allergic to ibuprofen anyway...I just have a monthly cycle for fun because my baby factory is otherwise somehow broken. 40, never conceived as far as I know, unless I did and lost it way way early. If you can't have another, be super greatful for the one you have, some folks don't even get one shot.

Hey if you do conceive and have twins can I have one of them?:idunno I have to ask...it'll be the only way I ever have a baby lol! I have had plenty of opportunity to raise others kids though smh...sad but true. I really don't know how anyone could not want to raise their child after 9 months and countless late nights...and the baby smell...well at least one end of the baby usually smells good. I just love kids of all ages, even my stinky teenage niece lol but I miss her being younger and less expensive..iPhone this, salon that, money for school...sheesh...you know the deal....wow I think I just talked myself out of wanting one :gig
