OK I haven't read any of the books yet- but I am an open minded individual -believe it or not - and I thought, well, at least let me try raw milk and see what I think, see if I can get my daughter to try it- but my question is- where do I find it? I tried doing a search and found some sites but there is nothing within an hour's drive. Is that possible? Do you all drive for hours for milk? Now I really want to try it.

I'm lucky enough to have a food co-op locally that sells, or I can buy it directly from that farm. I also have a coworker who will trade me a gallon for a dozen eggs.

I grew up in Bridgeport; moved to NJ; then came back and lived in Naugatuck for about 7 years.

Now I am in south central PA

I'm off to a slow start on this, but I finally went down to the raw milk seller and picked up a gallon. There is now a jar of whey-to-be in my cupboard so I can start using it to ferment things.

A quart jar of raw milk has been on my shelf for 6 days now. NT says 1-4 days, but so far the milk has not separated. Anyone have experiences with it taking longer? Thanks.
