It is snowing as I type this. Not much, but it IS snowing What a difference 24 hours can make! Yesterday morning it was 50 degrees and blowing HARD. This morning it is calm, snowing and 13 degrees.
We've got 1/2" snow. All trees standing 
and still hanging 
after the great wind.
I'd much rather get snow after the ground freezes or firms up a bit. There's nothing worse than cc skiing, hitting wet spots, getting ice clumps on the bottoms.
We've already reached today's high of 22 with 2-4" snow predicted and 50 mph wind chill.
If we get a lot of snow the SKR8PNs can come up here and ski, in exchange for some home canned goods, of course!

It's snowing sidewasy here. still strong winds, hence the sideways snow, but not as strong as last night. I though we were gong to blow away .

A pretty snow is falling here and sticking, but not really on the roads. 21 degrees.
Maybe this will put me in the Christmas spirit. I have had trouble capturing it this year.
Got up at 2 am and took straw to the duck. Thought they might need it, and I think they did welcome it.

Just a little update on the weather coming my way. Which I figure ought to hit you folks middle of next week.
We have three storms rolling in. Thurs night , Sat and Sun. The one coming on Sun is supposed to be a good one. Which means next week you will be in for another doosey.
Sylvie, maybe you will get that fire wood your wishing for!!!
