I love crispy bacon, but my daughter likes it chewy. I have a hard time taking it out so that it is not crispy for her.

I like my bacon just past chewie and not quite crispy. DH thought I was trying to kill him with undercooked pork the first time I served it my way! I, in fact, HATED bacon as a child because my father has a phobia about undercooked meat, especially pork, so bacon was cook to a high state of crispidity.
We have robins year round here most winters. I can tell though I'm seeing the spring robins return. It was almost, if not, 50* today!
