ok i'll tell you guys the latest with the MIL. so she showed up on mothers day and ruined everything... i mean.. for a visit. ok fine. so later that week she calls up and informs us that WE made her cat sick.

us: we havent seen your cat in like 2 weeks
she: well the vet said it was something the cat ate
us: like maybe all the junk in your house?
she: no it had to be something that we got on our shoes at YOUR place
us, looking around at no fewer than 7 not sick cats: huh?
she: its the only explanation - its your fault
us: huh?

* sudden flash of inspiration*

me: well you know MIL, dear, you are right. nothing but danger here. you should probably stay away.
*OFG gets kicked under the table by TBM*

anyway - thats what happened. how stupid is that?

but to your point, KC, i'm trying to work on a better attitude. all this sogginess has gotten me down.

and in good news... Turkey Bob did not try to kill me this morning when he flew out of the turkey house in a blind rage. he was met face to face with Titan. and so that turkey just walked away quietly. good dog.
