What a bummer OFG....

Did you run out there, overalls half on cause you were doing the bidness and wave your arms around like a freak?

That'd make the story funny....at least for me!

Seriously, though, what a shame. I sure hope you can recover from that!

I know it is not the same at all but this reminds me of when we had a guy tending to our yard several years ago.

I had these two huge gorgeous white Iceberg rose bushes that were absolutely loaded down with flowers and were taller that me. I tended them daily, deadheading, trimming leaves, talking to them, watering....they were my pride and joy. All of my neighbors admired these two rosebushes.

One day I stepped outside and to my complete shock and horror my gorgeous rose bushes had been sheered down to half their height. He just hacked off the entire top half of the bush. I cried. I kept going out and looking at them, I could not stop myself....it was very painful.

:hugs

Why in the world did they do that? KN had a neighbor dig out her azalea bushes a few years back. What's w/these neighbors that think they need to do something to your yard?

We actually PAID this guy to take care of our yard! He was only allowed to mow the lawn after this event. I was so livid I could not figure out for the life of me what he was thinking....he said that the rose bush was hanging over the walkway so he thought he should trim it. :smack

Karen,

It's like a car wreck on the highway. No one really want to see the devastation and destruction but you just have to look.
