Hey Free--gimme your opinion on this. I was going to let my legs grow out over the winter, but decided to shave them once a month--right before my massage appointment. I was paranoid about freaking her out with my hairy legs. Problem or no?

I'm like that with my yearly exam - I'm like shaving everything! Don't want my doc thinking I'm not neat and clean!

Yeah--no worries with the dh, but the MT is another story. I forgot last month when i had my physical. I was totally embarrassed. but, he's not gonna see me for many more months, so hopefully he'll have gotten over it.

*snort* I tried to go without shaving for a while, but I'm not cut out for it I think. And DH hated it. Haha, funny convo we had right in the middle of it though, might give you ladies some ammo, especially if your man is fuzzy.

DH "Can't you at least trim it? I'm just not into the planet of the apes theme..."

Me "Yeah, me neither, let's wax your mane"

That conversation was over, mwahahaha. I gave it another week and got fed up with it though.

There is no issue about massaging hairy legs. At least not for me. I would far rather work with hairy legs than have to worry about using universal precautions against blood-borne pathogens from big ol' shaving cuts from someone obviously speed-shaving just before their appointment!

Remember, we work on men, too, so as far as the actual work is concerned, it is not a big deal. And we work with all kinds of people, even women who NEVER shave their pits....you could french braid it!!!

Sometimes a woman realizes too late that she hasn't shaved and has 3 day stubble and apologizes. I just reassure her that she is doing my next client a favor, as her legs will exfoliate the callouses off my hands! :gig

Really, no big deal.

I don't know, my wife has fine hair legs, more common in Europe for women to have hairy legs/girly bits and such. I am sure its all back to the 70's so I have seen on adult videos. It was common to be "all natural" during/after the hippie movement, oh wait some of yuns were those folks!!

Hairy parts are also a fetish of sorts, each his own. I once picketed the war with a chick who had more hair than any woman I ever dated. She even had a trail of hair coming up out of pants to her belly button.

If ever I got lost, you'd have to send in a Bushman armed with a machete to rescue me....

I don't sport any hair on my back and just a love patch on my chest, can I say love patch?
