So glad you could catch it up and congratulations on your new pig.

You could post a "found" ad and have them describe the pig:sex and color. After a couple of weeks, I guess you have a new piggy. Determine early on whether it will be pet or food, that way you can wrap your head around your new pet or future dinner.

I plan to get a pig this year. Waiting for it to warm up a bit.

They can bite, but I think as long as you don't grab him in such a way that he can bite you in "defense". I think you'll be okay, I wouldn't be terrified of him at any rate.

If it is a "he" and you get to keep him, make sure he gets castrated. I've heard that boars get a 'taste' to them, and castrated males almost always make better pets than intact males.
