Since rabbits ate my okra down to stubs, we bought a half bushel yesterday. I put it up today. I cut it and oven blanched it, got 9 bags of 2 cups each. I chose the smallest and made pickled okra with lots of garlic and cayenne peppers.
I had seen them last weekend, but 4 got away from me, so the chickens got them. I have...wait for it....6 plants!!!
