Montana intrigues me. I've visited the SW area twice and find it appealing (but rather close to a huge volcano). I love how the prairie meets the mountains there in a bowl.

Alaska is nice and the southern part does get a nice growing window for crops, because I'd have to be able to grow a good garden.

Truly I like the weather in Ohio because we get the 4 distinct seasons and we are not usually in the path of any sever weather events. No volcanoes, no earthquakes of significance. :D

That's quite a few of us Ohioans. Hmmm, what is it about Ohio that we don't enjoy?
Hmm I dunno, the fact that there's virtually no jobs maybe???

The fact that the local economy SUCKS?? (can I say sucks on the forum?)

Ernie likes the idea of living in the wilderness....long as I have a Fort Knox coop, I don't mind.
Uhhhh, I think it's pretty much this way everywhere. At least in Ohio you have the means to bee SS. Land etc...

I will probably be moving soon Quail, but Alaska????? How about something a bit further south?

Family is trying to force us out.

So we're seriously looking for another place.

I don't think he's serious about Alaska though.

I think you nailed it, Becca! and there'd be no "surprise" visits because they wouldn't want to spend the $ to travel that far for a visit.
