oooo, Baker Creek has Ailsa Craig onion seed. It's not a storage type, but if I use a food processor and freeze that wouldn't be too bad.

Maybe gigantic onions would be easier to find and weed around?

I just ordered a boat load of seeds from Baker creek including a pack of Ailsa Craig. Baker creek prices were good plus no tax and free shipping. I don't like Dick Durbin get a penny from me, so I go out of my to find places to order on line with no tax.

I have soooo many seeds - but I can't stop myself from ordering soooo many others, lol. But, I don't even know where I'm going to put a garden come spring time....I've got pigs in that area. If I don't get 'em butchered I'll have to improvise!

I just did a spot check Fedco and Baker creek we're close in price. Fedco shipping is free for any order over $30.00 plus you have to pay tax. Like I said I don't like my congressman Dick Durbin getting one red cent from me - so I go out of my way not to pay Dick Dubin for the privilege (tax) of shopping somewhere.

I like to shop in the Baker Seed catalog and then see if I can find cheaper seeds of the same variety. Right now I'm looking on the

website and see that they have some seeds for .39cents a package. I dunno if they are comparable in the amount of seeds in the pack cuz I'm just starting the comparison.

I'm looking in the 50% off section.
