Something I've wondered about w/a double yoker, can you hatch them out and get 2 live chicks?

My understanding is very rarely.

One chick will hog most of the nutrition usually, and one of them will also have its head on the wrong end for hatching.

A few on BYC have done it, but most of the time they die in the shell. If you can get them to the point of hatching, you have to help.
