:he :he We don't have any money to fix the stupid thing. So, again, I turn to you guys for possible solutions ;) It will start up, and run for about 5 seconds and shut down. No, it isn't frozen up. Checked that. Any ideas about what else it could be? It's only 3 years old. :barnie Pleaseeeeee, it's 85 here right now...I can only imagine how tomorrow will be...it is supposed to be mid nineties all next week :th

We keep it set on like 78 in the summer. Right now it's about 83 in the house. :(

Play around with the temp setting? Like set it to 68 and see what happens.

We have adjusted the thermostat a few times, changed the batteries in the thing etc. etc. It's dead :hit

Yeah...maybe it's the stupid thermostat inside the house that has gone on the blink...I have one of those laying around here somewhere.....

mine is 15 years old and only 1 time did it conk out----and it was a little $5 part, but it cost $60 for the repairman......well worth every darn penny of that $60
