Paging Wifezilla to the herbal remedies aisle, please...

Long story short, I have located in the back part of the property many (6-8) tansy plants from a raspberry experiment many years ago. I've done a little reading on uses of the plant.

Does anyone use it? For what?

From my favorite herbal book:

Tansy is an effective remedy for use in ridding the digestive tract of infestations of worms. Whilst it is quite safe for this, its continued use over a period of time should be avoided as some of the constituents of the oil are quite dangerous in large doses. The herb is effective against roundworm and threadworm and may be used in children as an enema.



It's also a bitter tonic and emmenagogue (helps girls bleed) so it can cause miscarriage - that is actually the use I know it best by. Haven't used it myself but people used to use it that way more often

Anyway, mostly for worms but don't take while preggers if you wanna keep it.
