Good grief girl...that's like the taj mahal for birds! You got one heck of a deal!!!! :ya

That is unreal...I'm jealous...makes my little rabbit hutch look like like a playhouse! Your birds are gonna have tons of room!

Do you have any plans on modifying it at all, putting in some curtains, carpeting, a few couches? I'm sure you could whip something up out of that fitted sheet!!! :gig Come on now, your quail could really be in style!!!

I'm just kidding...I just thought I would rib you a little with all that sewing you've been doing...:D

I showed my Granny all of the pics on your blog and she was impressed, as was I. I can't wait to get a new machine so I can start whipping up stuff too!

How are you feeling? How's the baby doing...she still kicking you like crazy? I couldn't believe how differently Tyler and Maddie were in the womb...Tyler kicked my bladder all the time and Maddie felt like she was kicking my throat all the time...I carried her so high I never could breathe.

Hope all is well...

The baby was kicking my bladder so hard yesterday I thought she was going to make me tinkle!!! I need to take an update pic of my belly because I believe it has dropped considerable the last couple of days!! I went to church this morning and then to Goodwill and I could barely walk. I am not sure if I was having contractions or just BAD back, hip, and stomach pain. Betty, the lady who taught me to sew, said she could really see the pain wearing on my face. As soon as I got home and onto the couch I felt better. But, just getting off the couch today almost brings me to tears. 3 1/2 more weeks....3 1/2 more weeks..... I just keep telling myself that I can make it to the 36 week mark!!!

Thank you so much for admiring my sewing! I got a LOT of critism...or at least made fun... on another forum today about it.

And I do have plans to dress the new coop up! I want to put up blue curtains in the front! Actually we want to put a blue tarp on the front that we can roll up and have button straps to hold up so we can close it when it is really cold and windy.
I was thinking one section in the coop would be perfect for a broody hen to hatch her own clutch! If I fill this one up real quick DH might let me go back and buy the BIGGER one!!! I just have no idea how we would haul it!

I was really hoping to get more sewing done today but the serger machine does not seem to want to thread right. :rant DH finally gave up on it and went to bed. I have not worked with the serger because I do not want to get frustrated and get my blood pressure up. I just break it everytime I touch it and then holler for him to come fix it!!:gig

Oh my - I am extremely jealous. What a find for you. Blue curtians will look nice. But I really think you should look for two tarps. One blue and one pink. Not all those new chickies and quail you raise are going to be boys. (Do they make pink tarps? If not they should.)
Just picking on you because....well, because I can. :plbb

I can not believe someone made fun of your sewing. You are so (or should I say sew) awsome. DH and I went to Lowes today to return a high dollar flashlight that only worked for 3 days. While we were there I saw a little girl about 8 with the cutest outfit on. I know her mom made it and I immediately thought of you. I poked my DH and pointed at the little girl and told him there is a lady on my SS forum that sews stuff like that for her little girl. He said "really, wow, thats a lot of work". He was very impressed.

So to whom ever made fun of you :tongue

I have never seen pink tarps...but pink is very popular for tools now so they are probably sold somewhere!! I could put pullets in the one with a pink tarp and roos that go in the freezer in one with a blue tarp!! I will have to tell my DH to keep his eyes peeled for a pink tarp!! He will 'love' that!!!

They were making fun of my homemade tp and sn.
