Signing time with Alex and Leah.

My granddaughter loved it.
Never heard of this. I will have to see if the library has it.
Pam, its the link I gave you earlier. There are free downloads and activities on the website. I know the Madison Public Library has some of the Signing Times dvds.

Even though I spent a few weeks with my granddaughter I couldn't keep up with the silly pizza song.

She was also watching a lot of Little People.

We're little people, we have helping hands . . .
Dacs, I had to print out the words to the song so I could keep up with the words at least. :D

American Sign Language is what my daughter started with. Cara and Ri started signing before they could talk. They are already using ASL with 6 month old Luk.

I told my mom I was getting sucked into and informercial that helps a baby to read early. She said she was all for anything that helps them learn. Then I told her it was $200 and she said I was crazy and asked who had an extra $200 laying around!

OB appointment went well. My bp was 140/80. I have to do a 24 hour protien test every week now until I have the baby just so I do not start throwing protiens and we miss it.

I almost comitted a MAJOR family blunder today!! The roads are TERRIBLE!! I was heading home and almost hit my SIL's dog!!! I mean what are the chances!!! Two of her dogs were four houses down across the street in the ditch. They were headed further off the road then they doubled back and ran right out in front of me!! I tried stop and I just slid!! I thought for sure Blondie was going right under the tire!! I was able to get stopped before Romeo ran out!! Scared me to death!! I have no idea how I could have told my SIL 'I' hit one of her dogs!!!

What are your SIL's dogs doing running around loose?? Harsh as this sounds, I say heck with the dogs. It would have been worse if you slid off the road into the ditch. If the ditches by your place are anything like around here - they are 3.5 feet deep minimum! That could be serious for a woman trying to hold on to the final weeks of pregnancy, girl!

Glad every thing is okay.

I always had easy peasy pop'em out pregnancies. What do they do for proteins test?

As mean as it sounds I would have hit the dogs before I hit the guy in the other lane, who was able to get stopped, or before I went into the ditch!
Then I would have had to talk the other guy into hanging around and taking the blame!!!
I immediately got on my cell phone and called my SIL to come out and get them. She has like 6 or 7 dogs and they get out ALL the time!! When I called her she said she was outside calling them so I am thinking that is what made them run back out into the road.

The protien test is where they take my blood and I have to collect my urine for 24 hours if their is protien in my blood or urine that means I am going into preeclampsia or toxemia. If I do that that means I could start to have a seizure and the high blood pressure would cut off oxygen to the baby.
