I'm back, finally.
After a long time, we got the official approval and my tiny to-go shop - NichiNichi Café can start business now. It's a project for the entire year.
NichiNichi means 'daily/everyday' in Japanese, and I did wish it will become a daily spot for the neighborhood or whoever visit this region.
Some handmade or selected products for daily life or gardening.
Customers who bring their own containers for drinks and cakes/sandwiches will get a 50 cent discount/per item.
I did most of designs on Canva and printed them.
Some of the loyalty cards (collecting stamps for free plants) and free treats
I did many practices during the winter months and some volunteer testers tried and gave me a lot of feedbacks.
Yeah, I'm ready for the new chapter.

I decided to open the shop tomorrow and make the coming week as the soft-open week. Therefore, many items will be baked today. 
Another difficult decision I made is not using social media for this small shop, besides a few posts on FB groups (our town) to announce the shop opening. Life is short, and I am not willing to spend time on social media interactions. Well, so i guess, it would take some time until people really know this place.
My first time to run a shop, wish me luck.

Finally, it's soft-opening day.
I didn't expect that it's pretty challenging to fill this smallest display fridge.
I also prepared three different snacks that can stay in the room temperature environment.
So, a new chapter starts!

Today's two cake rolls, freshly baked in the morning.
Even running a small business like this, it reminds me - choosing what not to do/giving up is at least as important (or even more important than) as what to do/holding on. .
Something rare here, too - but it's delicious
Our neighbor came right after I opened the shop at noon time and bought three pieces of cake to share with her colleagues and ordered a salad for tomorrow. She brought her own containers and saved 2 Euros in total. It's a win-win-win situation.
I will put sandwiches and salad into the category that people have to pay and pre-order like this. It will save a lot of unecessary risks of preparation and waste.
Maybe, it can be counted as a kind of "dynamic balance" - keep moving, adapting, and then keep moving.
