The customer wanted this to match her home in shape and color. She wanted a total gray roof in the beginning, with only 2 small windows. I talked her into the gray/clear alternation on the southward facing roof to get her the maximum sunlight while still keeping with her color scheme. Personally, I agree and would have put more clear panels...but the customer is always right lol. The 2x2 tubing makes a great frame, very sturdy. I use primed(already has paint on it)tubing to keep rust at a minimum.
