The moment before my picture session went all wrong because Hermes cannot stand chickens being out of their pen. The birds cannot stand his stare. The pullet tried to make a run for it.

Stupid blackbirds will bill the bird feed out looking for prefered bits. The little finches, sparrows, and such will clean up the ground. These two critters have shown up in the last few months. We haven't had squirrels before. They gladly clean up as well.
