People don’t think about East Texas for fall color, but we do get some colorful trees in the fall. We have so many pine trees that stay green all year around, that the deciduous trees compete with. I took this picture yesterday. Maybe we don’t have the color explosion like the eastern states, but we get a little bit. LOL

a prime example of something is better than nothing. :)

the trees up here are mostly bare by now other than the oaks, pines and the other few which somehow hang on longer. we've not had enough hard frosts yet to have knocked all the leaves off the honeysuckle bushes (Mom called them the stinky things over there today). :)

I should hopefully get more (better) pictures soon. I'd taken all the camera batteries and the charger out of the case and misplaced them long ago. Gave in and ordered a new charger and batteries because Mom wants to borrow the camera. Also have a better adapter that will also plug into the phone as well as computer
