nope, just scared for no reason lolll

it's ok. as long as you don't swat at them or go near their nests most bees/etc are not out there to get you.

moving slow and being observant helps avoid conflicts, if one starts buzzing you slowly back off but a few particular bees can be more territorial and will follow you a ways. i'm glad to say that of those i've not found any that sting worse than hornets or bumblebees, the ground nesting bee has a sting, but it is mild, but where it lacks in potency it makes up for being really annoying in that it tends to find a way to get between my glasses and my eyes. ground nesting bees can be discouraged from taking up residence in a garden by keeping it cultivated and watered - those are challenges for me here with so many gardens.

wearing clothes that won't trap bees is the other good thing to mention.

i work around bees quite often and very closely but as long as i'm not stepping on them or otherwise grabbing them (by mistake) or getting too close to their nests they don't sting.

once stung though you are scent marked and if the bees can resting they will repeatedly. i've had that happen were it was my gardening shoe and the same bee kept coming back to sting that same spot. changing clothes and washing might calm them down but best to also just stay away from that area for a day or two for them to calm down.
