You'd especially like some from her sheep...they are hair sheep, so they taste MUCH better than woolly breeds. That meat is tender and sweet!

MMD, that tree fungus looks like angels! Very pretty!

@baymule can you and your husband adopt me? I'm a pretty easy keeper... Just need good eats like lamb chops and things to do to keep busy and I already have tools :) heck I could even build my own little cabin too.

@CrealCritter Consider yourself adopted! Actually we already have a cabin...... It's 8'x10' and needs a little more remodeling. LOL I was planning on making it a tool room, but I guess now it's yours.

Awesome I get my very own oak tree. Not much lumber in that sapling but hey it's shade :) and I won't need to mow my front lawn either with all that sand:weee

No this isn't a thief. I pay off the ravens to keep the hawks away. I'd tossed a bag of stale unsalted peanuts out a while back that they absolutely loved, even more than the eggs I think. They get the older silkie eggs, or the silkie eggs if I can't collect one day. (Broody silkies...always broody silkies)

There are a pair of them that hang out here. They will circle looking for the dogs because they know that usually they are out with me. I've finally got it through the dogs heads mostly to leave the ravens alone. The ravens noticed and are getting braver at coming down to get the eggs.

These were taken different days. Second one it had eaten it's fill and was just out there playing.

They're lovely. I have so many of them here, though they get plenty food, I chase them plenty too, vs encouraging them to come visit. If I don't they'd flock over and eat all the chickens' feed.
