I think the jam photo in Rathbone's journal is worth of a pow sometime in the near future...

QA,

I'm proud to see our garlic harvest!

We wanted to spend some money on seed garlic but were told by "pro's" (grrr, don't know nothing's) that it wouldn't be happening here.
Out of curiosity, we spent around $5.00 at the grocery store, just to see if the cloves would even sprout and out of 21 seed cloves, we harvested 21 FAT garlic bulbs. The Elephant Garlic was the weakest but we gave the non-cloving bulbs to mom and she's feeding people garlic that don't even realize they're eating garlic. We love it! It's not that these people can't eat garlic, it's because they've never eaten it and are sure that they can't eat it. (No allergies involved, I promise!).

We are going to load our 2 raised beds and other cultivated beds with a lot of garlic this year, just because we can and we love to eat it and use it against bugs!

P.S. Found a cool organic against grass hoppers, too! Check out Nolo for Grass Hoppers

Here is a picture of our sweet potato blossoms. They remind me of Morning Glory's
