I love hunting pics. I want to see what everyone brings down and eats! But yea, every now and then some person comes along and can't handle dead animal pics. What'cha gonna do right? ;) we gotta be politically correct all the time!
My exact thinking regarding politically correct. This site changed my thinking on many issues, politically, economically AND about hunting!
Furthermore, being politically correct has caused our country to sink to some of the lowest morals that this country has ever seen. IMO.

I wouldn't be too quick to decide that someone wants you to be "politically correct", my husband hunts and I have no problems with it whatsoever, however I personally don't need to look at the face of a dead animal every time I log in to a website. So for me personally I'm glad it was changed.

eta: I don't find the photo offensive, it's just not something I'd have in my face all the time. Nothing personal intended at all by my comments, glad you are giving back to your community from the bounty of your hard work.

I liked the pic, but I agree with moolie, I don't want to look a dead animal in the face all the time. Although I think it would be ok for a week.... I wish SO had got a deer this season...... was more my line of thinking ;) when I saw the pic.

Other than a few moments to admire a pic, I don't stare at it every time I log on. For that matter, who's to say that it isn't just tied down? It doesn't look dead. Maybe it's into the whole animal bondage thing? Hey to each their own. Who am I to judge...
