Caught the snow crazies yesterday. They were hungry because they needed a new round bale, and I had the dogs out in the yard. I called the dogs, and the horses came running instead! They're more responsive than the dogs sometimes...

Yeah, about 3" or so.

That is such a beautiful pic!!! Nothing prettier than horses in the snow...such a sense of joy one gets as they run and frolic in it.

Here's a few pics that may be in keeping with SS...barrel stove built from an old Sotz kit from the 70s. We've been using the same kit on a succession of barrels down through the past almost 40yrs.

An outhouse in the snow.....our little brown house.

Our cabin...built from logs harvested here on the place, back in the mid 90s.

Hoop coop built on the cheap from cattle panels, scrap lumber and old, scavenged hardware, etc.

An egg shaped yolk...my first ever!
