well an angel came along and bought me new boots...
and by angel I mean truly an angel.
I barely know this woman, I know he in pasing at best form ren faires, she helped me out with a couple of tickets one year when none of my so called "real" frineds would, the answred a lot of my questions about gastric bypass when I was thinking on it but other than a pasing hey I...
she messaged me after I posted about my boots and said she was sorry, that she loved what I was doing with mylife and wanted to send me a little something...
that little something was a new pair of ariat heritage boots...
I cannot thank her enough.

then today I found myself questioning people again lol (never long lastin ghuh?)
ive got 3 adult angora, a month ago someone paid in full for them she was supposed to pick up that weekend...stuff happened, rescheduled for the next, bad weather happened heard nothing until the beginning of this pst week, arranged for riday, but my shcedual and hers got all bumpy, so Sunday..."DEFINATLY sunday" and "well leave after church on sunday)
I asked for a confirmation on sturday night and a ETA on sunday since I of course have no idea what time she gets out of church on sundays...
Saturday nothing, emailed her...this morning...nothing...emailed her...this late morning...emailed her the afternoon...nothing.
im at the point where I may just refund her money and be done with it and relist them...sigh.

In good news, my last little guy from the last angora litter whent home today...
another case of 1 person not getting back to me...so someone else messaged me and wanted to pick up at 4pm...so home he whent.
im not holding without a deposit...heck im not holding longer than 2 weeks WITH a deposit anymore either.
nutz!

not much else going on...body has been a tad angry but lifes life.

still nothing from the person for the 3 angora...that's fun.
I sent her a calm and as polite as possible "tell me now or were done" email...shes got until the end of today to message me back or ill refund and be done with her. its ridiculous.

not much else going on...
need to make a feed run, need shavings for the brooder and chicky food for the babies in the barn and the quail/turkeys/dels.
and need to make a Walmart run for some immodium and some plumbing epoxy...
(got a leaky water feature in my gecko tank and an alpaca with an icky tummy...:/)
need to special order some baycox, and the copper bolus' for the goats too... (weve been so wet that im worried paca may be cocci...so weve wormed everyone and will coccidistat everyone as a just in case)
and I realy need to find my foot shears so I can do goaty feets too...

that's ontop of the rest of the to do list.

busy bumblebee.

I figure the reason I'm so busy all the time is because my name means the bee.

lol!

well this summer is not being kind on my body...or my ody is not being kind on me, either way its effecting my mental state and ive not been in the best f places mentally for a while...
still not but trying to claw my way up...
usually summer is easy on my body as long as I take it easy during the height of the day...
the pool used to help just floating along...
but this summer so far has not been helpful,
he pool water even in the 80s just feels painfully cold on my body, and beyond chores I barely have the energy to do anything...and if this is how the "easy" part of the year is treating me...im DREADING winter.
its forced me to make some choices...

im trying to sell my angora rabbits off,

and ive decided to try and sell the alpaca, I like em...but I don't LOVE them and theres 4 garbage bags of fiber in the barn that my sister hasn't even throught of clearning and I just don't have the energy...there not going to pay for themselves at this rate so they need to go...

and im thinking after kidding time im going to sell one of our bucks and 2 does from the goat herd...

both our mini pig sows look pregnant so that's going to be the deciding factor on that front, if the babies sell quick and easy they'll stay, if not well sell them too...mum wanted the pigs to help support the farm monetarily...so if they don't bring in the cash, they'll go before winter too

it sucks, but ive got to face the reality that my body isn't going to cooperate the way I want so I need to listen and cooperate with it intstead.

I agree! Sometimes we have to make those tough decisions - but they usually turn out to be very smart decisions in the end.

sounds to me like you are taking care of yourself even tho what you are having to do isn't pleasant. good for you. I'm doing the same thing and its not easy. i make plans and then second guess myself and change my mind. a day at a time is how I'm taking it right now.

thanks everyone, it realy sucks, but we do have to go 1 day at a time.
I keep 2nd gessing myself, my sister is going to have a fit when she finds out were selling the alpaca but this isn't her thing, she helps in an evening if I ask her to, she helped shear and is supposed ot be sorting and spinning the wool, but she hasn't made any attempts, and if we cant sell the wool...they arnt paying for themselves.
I have someone supposed to be coming this afternoon to take a look and see what she things, she has 7 other alpaca, so it would be nice for them to go to an existing herd, even if she only takes 2 it would help the feed bill even a few pennies...
got a few other interested parties if she doesn't want all so fingers crossed.
ses also interested in taking a look at the angora rabbits so im REALY hoping shell take them too, moving them out would be a big weight off too...

if they go I can also move some critters at the barn around a little and it wold take some pressure off for the more immediate needs
id move the male goats in with the male pig and move the female pigs in with the female goats, if the alpaca stall is empty I can set that up as a birthing pen for the piggies and not have to worry so much about farrowing them on pasture.
im also realy hoping all 5 female goats are pregnant, hoping their kids sell quick and then sell 1 male and 2 females of them, that would get me back to a comfortable level for the winter...
fingers crossed.

anywho...
its HOT as blazes but ive got a rabbitry and alpaca stall to clean before this lady comes a calling...so gonna go get it done.
