Glad the turkey house was done, saves the shed he was in for other use.:D

Bet you will feel effects from that infection for a couple weeks. It takes a lot from your system, entire body, when those issues happen. Then loaded with antibiotics....lots of dead gut flora. Eat your yogurt &/or kefir to help replenish. Sure hope you had good insurance. That hospital stay had to of cost a bundle! They don't slack a bit when billing you

Feel better. Keep wearing the "white hat" . :old

I'm still feeling it and I'm sure I will for awhile. I'm on 2 antibiotics for the next week. Moving slow as my incision is still open have to go to health nurse every other day to have packing changed. But I'm feeling better every day.

Turkey house is done although it's only a temporary one for now I plan o building a bigger one once I am able. It's small but will only house 3 turkeys. Once I build a bigger one it will be converted for more chickens thinking about getting a few Ameraucana – blue wheaten & wheaten and want to keep them separate from my layers.

I still haven't taken any pics of turkey house but I do have this one to share.
I call it lamb TV. Lol

The weather was miserable today so we never accomplished much but if the weather cooperates tomorrow DW and I will get the turkey run finished hardwire mesh is in place all around the bottom. Chicken wire is almost done through the rest of the wall. Tomorrow we will add the rest of the chicken wire and put netting over the top. All that's left then is to build a door to the run for us and in the house add a roost and nesting boxes then our 2 hens and the new tom can move in.
I just collected today's eggs and took a few picks so everyone can see what we have going on. Everything is a work in progress and will be revised over and over as we slowly expand our little homestead.

This is the new space and house for the turkeys

Love the coop with the recycled truck topper. I actually had one of those once upon a time. I see you've perfected the one handed bottle hold for the lambs! I can barely hold one in each hand for my bottle monsters. I once heard someone say they could feed five bottle babies at one time. Two bottles in each hand and one between their knees. That's talent! Hope your bantam hen is successful.

Like the pictures! I love lambs. We have 12 at the moment, they are weaned, and so sweet. I hope your broody hen hatches out all her eggs.
