Please dont sow the new comers.
They will cross and ruin your native plants

it is a bit late for that (i was going back and reading through older threads and posting to them :) ).

around here there are several types of plantains.

When I had new loam brought in, It also brought a new variety of plantain. I had the broad leaf, now have narrow leaf as well. I welcome the stuff, and will often run around harvesting it before hubby completes mowing the lawn. I've considered planting some in the garden, knowing it would provide a succulent crop of huge, unblemished leaves. So far have resisted the temptation.
