A friend of ours recently started a job at a dairy farm about 22 miles from us. She had told us that the farmer would be looking for more employees in like 6 weeks or so, so since E has experience working a dairy (worked on a dairy farm as herdsman for 10 years) and he was certified through COBA (can vaccinate, AI, etc) he asked her to put a word in for him.
Well she did. Yesterday. Farmer Boss said he'd keep E in mind. Cool, right?
Today she shows up at our house with directions on how to get to the dairy farm. And for E to show up sometime early Monday morning for an interview.
WHAT?!
She said that yesterday Farmer Boss calls the former Dairy farm that E worked for, and they gave a stellar reference! Then this morning he told our friend R, "Give me that guys number, Feed guy just quit!"
So E's job description would be feeding cows and using a skid loader to scrape barn. And pushing big cows I guess into milking areas. ALL stuff he's done before!
Our friend R told the guy about E's back surgery, so he's wanting to talk to E about limitations, what can he do, etc. E's willing to give it a go if the Farmer will give him the chance!
So please, please, please keep it in prayer for us!
I've been sitting on this piece of information all day waiting for E to get home so I could tell hiim about it before I spilled my guts to everyone else!
