Primal Hummus

What the heck is tahini????? Some kind of bathing suit?

You can use another nut butter in it's place if you can't find it. I can't do peanut butter these days, but have used it in place of tahini in the past for hummus, and it came out great.

Tahini is like peanut butter but made from sesame seeds.

I've been looking for tahini for months and never thought to look next to the peanut butter, even the store employees had no idea. yay. i'm making hummus!

I couldn't find tahini in the local high-end store. I'll need to look in the local specialty store next....I did buy some garlic hummus, though.....yum
