I now have tons of yellow plums, what are your favorite ways of "putting up" with them? ;)
Since you won't allow little jack horner how about getting the monkeys drunk? or making plum pudding or plum bread, and my favorite plum wine.

I've never had access to a plum tree, but I have made wonderful plum crisps or cobblers from purchased plums. You don't even need to peel them. Plum-blueberry is a nice combination, with a crumb topping made with butter, sugar, oats, and cinnamon. If you like this, you could freeze some for this usage, or maybe can some as filling.

I would also dry some to add to oatmeal or for snacking.

My jar of native plum liqueur is starting to get very purple and smells quite nice!

My fil has a yellow plum tree and a red plum tree. I've trying just canning them whole like my mom used to do, but they are just too sour. However, they do make wonderful jelly.

Our plums trees are loaded as usual, this year we're going to dry them, after all, I need something to live off when I get stuck in the city. maybe some wine too, that fixes everything.

Plum wine, mmmm....

Thanks everyone. They are the tiny plums, I didn't have a chance to say that before. So far I have a whole bucket of them, the rest will probably fill maybe 2 more by the end of the week.

Plum liqueur sounds great too.

I dried them last year but they got moldy by the end of the month. :/ I suppose I didn't let them dry enough.

Pomona pectin, where do you get that?
