Well, the Birthday Party plans have been changed up a little, and first I'll say that under normal circumstances, I wouldn't change up my plans to coordinate with other people's schedules, but in this case I think it works out well.

Becky wanted to stop in for Baby Boy's party, but isn't able to stop in to see him until this evening. Grandma (my mom) isn't able to stop in at 3 pm either, because she already had obligated herself to work the Bee Keeping both at the fair. (Originally she thought she had the morning shift and would be done by two, instead, her shift started at 2).

So, I called Becky's mom this morning and talked to her about post poning the party until 6 or 6:30 this evening. I'd still go ahead with dinner here as planned for my family, and then we'd have the cake and "party" part later in the day. She agreed that that would probably work out as a good time for Becky. I checked with Ernie to make sure he was OK with it, too, and he was, so I made sure Becky's mom knew that she was invited to come along as well.

I then called my mom and let her know that the party plans had changed. She was a bit excited and said she'd come straight over as soon as she was done with the fair.

So right now I'm cooking our dinner. I'm cooking hamburgs so Baby Boy is going to have his first hamburger. :) We're also having salad, mini corn on the cob, and mashed potatoes.

This also gives us time to clean up after dinner before we have cake. I still have to wrap Baby Boy's birthday gift, wash him up a little, and put him in his new B-Day outfit. Lots to do....

Guess I should get my butt off here then and hop to it!

The party lasted for about 2 hours. Everyone had a great time.

Becky was really sweet. Not only did she bring a gift for the birthday boy, but she brought each of the older kids a small bag of goodies, too. I thought it was really kind of her to think of the older children and include them that way. The kids were thrilled with their small toys and candy she gave them. Oh and Bubbles! LOL Bubbles always win my kids over!

Baby Boy got a new outfit, that he wore today, from Mom and Dad plus a t-shirt/onesie that he unwrapped, and a toy steering wheel that makes noise. He also got a Fisher Price toy farm from Becky, complete with farmer and tractor, sheep and cow. It has a barn, too. Attached to his present from Becky was this adorable stuffed duck, that he's now sleeping with as I type

He loved his cake, but mostly I think he loved being the center of attention...Most of all, Baby Boy loves Becky!!

We have one more friend who said they might stop in tonight, but it's getting pretty late now so I'm not sure if they still plan to or not.

Here's a couple pics before and during his little party. :)

I know it's not his front, but for some reason, I just like how this black and white of him came out. I just think it's cute. Anyway, this is his new birthday outfit that we got on clearance yesterday.

Baby Boy with his own cake...he had so much blue icing just everywhere! Later I scraped the icing off and let him have a second round with his cake....there was small problems with that, too!

This time he went for the green icing, and ended up snorting it up his nose!!! It was kind of gross  He didn't appreciate me cleaning his nose out, either lol
