If you have spare moments (yeah, right) try an ice pack for your eye. The numbing will help with the itching, plus keep the swelling down.

I wish. Too much to get done, and yet I'm still sitting here at the 'puter.
Did I forget to mention that the baby was up until midnight screaming???
And I was back up by 6 am to him once again screaming.
He's cutting ONE tooth...all this for ONE tooth...seems like he should have six coming at once with all the squalling he's doing.

I'm going to pick you up some Poison Ivy Remedy today. One little bottle will dose the whole family if they have it too. It is also a preventative for when you think you may get it like on a hike or cutting fence posts. 
It is made in Wadsworth, Ohio, and it is homeopathic. Can't find an online link. It is probably just available in NE Ohio.
The pills are tiny round crystals you put under your tongue.
I had a couple people recommend it to me and believe me, it works.

Wow, not a good way to start out the day is it? If you have an aloe vera plant it will really ease the poison ivy itch and swelling. Sick kids, ugh! Not fun.

Oh honey, I'm so sorry. I got lucky with my two kids, when they were cutting teeth they had a fever and diarrhea for 2 days and then it was done. God blessed me with that one!
Hope you get some relief from the poison ivy...I can't imagine having it in my eye.....
