You might want to take a pic of the buck too, incase a future owner wants to know what the daddy of their future babies looked like. :p

Sounds like you had quite the adventure with the goats. Goats go for at least $100 around here, females that it. Especially dwarf females, they can go for as much as $300.00!!!

ROTFL!!!!!!!!!!!

Becca wasn't IN my Jeep! :p

I can't think of when she's ever been in my Jeep...I'm thinking when we go places it's almost always in her car........

As bad as my Jeep is smelling right now, I doubt that anyone is going to want to ride in it for awhile! Very strong, musky goat odor emanating from it! My mom came up the driveway and said, "Whew! Is that your car I smell?"

 Yes mom, and add to it, last Monday when we took the Geese and Pekins to auction, the Geese machine gunned their poo all over the back of the back seat! (they were in the hatch area, so it's the carpeted side not the leather side). Still working on getting THOSE stains out!

Now I've got goat hair all over the place!

Here's a few pics of the goats!
In this pic, the two in the bottom left are 1 year old whethers. The big guy in the back and to the right of the pic is Boots the Bully Billy Goat, who's not at his new home harrassing two new doe-mates

This Goat is the Mama to the whethers (Boots is actually their dad) and they said she's bred again, just not sure when she's due (what is with people not controlling the mating habits of their goats? ) She has a pretty large udder.

This is the other doe. They said they weren't for sure if she was bred or not, but if she wasn't, well, Boots didn't leave here without making sure he'd completed that job! :p

Here's my Welsummer Flock, all except the two hens I got from Becca. I didn't have them yet when I had taken this picture.. (the ducks with them are my Welsh Harlequins, but they have since been removed from the pen).

Here's a couple pics of the BBS Orp chicks I got from Becca. I first thought I had 3 maybe 4 cockerels, but now I'm thinking I have 2 maybe 3 cockerels and 4 or 5 pullets.

We're advertising the whethers for $70 each and the two bred does for $80 each. The whethers are really stocky, and look like they'd make a nice dinner or two for someone!

I think both does have good sized udders for milking, but I sure as heck don't want to be the one that has to milk them! I'm holding out for a family Jersey! ;)

Didn't you have a couple other does a while back that you were planning on breeding and milking? What happened to them?

Yea yea yea I know...I was thinking the same darn thing as I typed that! Really couldn't be helped, though, as we were hauling them in the same vehicle, and I only had one pen to put them all in. At least she's over a year old, though, and not some 5 or 6 month old doeling!

I had a pair of Boer/Nubian crosses. I sold them because we couldn't handle Elroy and Nan wasn't at all cooperative with the whole milking idea.

Then I had two pygmy's, one doeling one buckling. The buckling ws with us a whole 3 days and he keeled over. My mom bought the pygmy doeling from me. Once my buckling died, I decided goats weren't for me.

But who can pass up the chance to pick up something FREE and turn a profit on it?

Not me!
