Cute pics! How is your son doing? Was it just a case of silly nurse disease? (No disrepect to nursing, my dearly loved MIL was a nurse for over 30 years.)

How did the farm do with last night's storm?

We checked out his arm when he got home, and it looks like bad wind burn to us. No white lacey rash like the nurse said.

We had 2 trees down this morning, and branches broke off others - but the bee hive was still standing!!!! and i had a lot of girls flying in and out already this morning. They didn't sleep in today!

One tree was the one right behind Zoe's box. Barely missed her! The other one was in our tree line by the road, and it took up 3/4 the road.

E and his dad already have both trees cleaned up, and they'll be buzzed up for firewood.

Few small branches down in the chicken pens, but no damage, thank you Lord, to the chicken pens. And Blessing, our heifer, was fine this morning, too, and no damage that we found to her pasture.

It could have been worse, but thankfully it wasn't.

Wow, you must have got more storm than we did. :/ I heard it roar across the hills and half the valley lost power (not us). I figured that canopy we moved off the trailer last night would be blown across the yard, but it didn't move.

Gosling still hasn't progressed anymore. I usually feel like I end up helping them too soon, so I've tried to be patient, but tonight I'm going into help if he hasn't hatched.

I AM NOT MAKING TO MY APPOINTMENT AT 10:30 AM BECAUSE WE NOW HAVE ANOTHER FLAT FREAKING TIRE

and YES I WAS CUSSING!!

The tire on Friday had a Horseshoe nail in it - we replaced the tire yesterday. It was a back passenger side tire.

Want to guess what was in my FRONT DRIVERS SIDE TIRE JUST NOW??

It wasn't flat before I did my morning drive job today, so that means I just picked up the nail this morning.

That's the final straw for me - NO MORE DRIVING AMISH because I'm not making anything if every penny is going BACK INTO replacing tires or parts on the van - and I am NOT going to be buying tires weekly! I REFUSE.



So my FIL was nice enough to let me use his phone and make 4 calls - 2 to my mom, 2 to my dr. At first they were going to reschedule me for next Tuesday, so I called mom to see if she could take me next Tuesday, because it's a bit doubtful we'll get the tire replaced before then Mom said she could take me today and I said well they were willing to fit me in this afternoon...So called Dr back and now have a 1:45 pm this afternoon and mom's taking us.

BUT I STILL WANT TO SCREAM.
