Quick chicken stock question???

I wouldn't think so. I just had a ton and didn't want to attract the coyotes.

I think if my situation was a bit more controlled I could have let them pick the stuff over and then rake up the bones. But I was leaving for the day and did not want to tempt the coyotes.

The little hen beasties will feast tonight, then :D

Another thing about the chicken fat...I know some people who don't can it that way because of aesthetics. To each his own. You CAN save the chicken fat and use it just like lard, makes WONDROUS pie crusts and dumplings. So if you ever have some chicken fat that you're not using right that second SAVE it.

I'm canning cream of chicken soup today WITH the fat thank you very much. LOL!
