I was saying to look on craigslist to see if you're in the ballpark on pricing.

Are the people at the fundraiser willing to pay a bit more than anyone else because they know it is a fundraiser?

The other option is to put it up on eBay a few plates or cups per auction. This way people can buy them as replacements cheaper that from the big boys AND they pay for the shipping that way!

Maybe wean your complete set down to a perfect service for eight and sell all of the extras on eBay.

I know that the serving pieces should always be sold as separates (except for salt and pepper). Serving pieces and unusual dishes always bring the most.
