Until we were finally able to contain them (for now at least), RU's goats were constantly getting in w/the horses. So, horses and goats together are not a problem. I know people that have horses, llamas, donkeys, mules and goats all together w/out having a problem.

Goats are excellent companion animals to horses and cattle because goats browse leaving behind most of what the cows/horses will eat and the cows/horses graze leaving behind what the goats will eat. It makes the best usage of your property to have them all together in the pasture.
