I used for a burn before. I lit a firecracker, was about to toss it and the wick curled and dropped on my finger. Burned into it leaving a small charred U shape. Owww. I rinsed it fast and put honey, plus a drop of lavender oil on it. Next day was a little tender, but okay.

It was the deepest burn I've ever had, so that was amazing.

Thanks for posting this! Awesome, and I hope I remember it when I need it!

Any great treatment for bee stings? My son screamed for 3 hours with the last one.

I heard about putting a paste of baking soda on it. Or you can try a slice of onion, bandaged on it. Haven't tried either of them.

There's a good book called "Honey, Mud and Maggots". It explains the benefits of these and other remedies. I've used honey on my dogs' scrapes and other injuries with good results. Haven't been brave enough to try the maggots though

eggs4sale....the bee stings...just get a bit of mud..from the yard/garden and smear it on, let it dry. The mud takes the sting out almost instantly!! It REALLY works!!

Nice to hear about honey and burns...that is a great thing to BEE knowing!

My DD put some on a pimple one night before bed and as I recall it helped quite a bit....I will have to ask her.

E4S....vinegar takes the sting right out, reduces swelling and no itching. Reapply if the itching comes back after the vinegar wears off.

Also....muscle rub, like Ben Gay. An area of skin can only feel one sensation at a time, so if you apply the Ben Gay, it can only feel the cool/heat feeling for awhile. This also works if you have an itchy rash.....just apply the muscle rub NEAR the rash but not on it. You won't feel the itching anymore. Works great for bug bites.

Leg/foot cramps....bite firmly on your bottom lip and just hold still. Bite harder if the cramp doesn't start to ease. It really works, just give it a moment! :)

TY, D! :)

Oh, almost forgot....the muscle rub also works on that prickly, burning sensation of neuropathy in your feet. Almost instantly!
