Returning after ? years. i don't really know how long but the email I had listed has not been used
since we moved in 2009. I have been back to this site looking for info but life has a habit of interfering with my research and I just stopped.
We have a small homestead (~5 acres) and I am trying to become more self sufficient. Right now both my husband and myself have outside jobs because we have to.
I have rabbits and chickens and a very small garden. I'm good with the chickens and garden but my father always made sure I was elsewhere when the bunnies went to freezer camp. So I am a wimp and have to find someone else to 'do the deed'. But I'm working on it.
The chickens all think they are pets so no processing there.
I am considering goats but right now my focus is an outbuilding for the rabbits. Currently they are in several hutches that just kind of evolved as our little herd grew (what are a group of rabbits called?) and my hubby was indisposed at the time so it was me just throwing stuff together.
