I guess I need to clarify. I use the squirt bottle simply for the tip of it--- it easily inserts into your nose, and for the vessel, as it holds a sufficient amount of sol'n. I do not squirt the sol'n into my nose. I turn my head, let the sol'n pour into my nostril until it runs out eh other side.
I use the method, as I am too cheap to buy a neti pot, when I could easily improvise one, and for much cheaper too, I might add.
