I ordered 2 jars of the Cayenne rub today. One to give to my daughter. She has serious back issues, no insurance, so just plugs along. Also my hubby has gout problems. Takes a daily pill, but sometimes it flairs up in his big toe. I'll have to go back and check out the other product, forgot about it.

For gout try black cherry juice concentrate daily, which gets expensive or this:

Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) will break down uric acid in the blood. If you do this you need to add at least 400mg of magnesium, magnesium citrate and B6 at least 100mg. You must do this also to maintain balance

You can use very high doses of pantothenic acid. Start with 500mg three times a day. Then in 5 days increase to 1000mg three times a day and after 5 days then retest the uric acid blood level. But if they have gout or goutly arthritis where they just feel generally achy you will know that the uric acid levels are coming down because they will feel better. But you have to take the magnesium and B 6 also.

On rare occasions you might have to go up to 2500mg three times a day then retest after 5 days. Pantothenic acid is not toxic and you can not overdose. On other rare occasions 3,000 mg three times a day.

Thanks again for all the good info. I had a much bigger range of motion yesterday, but started getting sore last night. Too much of, "Look honey what I can do now", I guess. Taking it easy today.

MorelCabin I'll check into Flex Solution asap.

Good news from therapy - strained, not torn. I have exercises to do and I'll be fine. Thanks for the help.

I figured that it must not be as serious as mine was when you bounced back the next day, lol!
The great aspect to your starting this thread is that we now have a number of remedies to draw from. I am sure that with all the work the majority of SS'ers are doing, someone will have a rotator cuff issue sooner rather than later.

kcsunshine, I hope your shoulder injury is improving by now. Thought I would share this with you incase you are still having pain.

DH pulled something in his shoulder and pectorial muscle on the L side. Lots of pain and all projects have gone on hold. Range of motion limited with lots of facial distortions when attempted. I won't let him even carry a few splits to the woodstove. When he gets to moaning and groaning like this I can be sure it is pretty bad

His last shoulder injury took over a year to mend so I've been kinda freakin out because this house is scheduled to be built this summer, along with garden frames and a chicken coop and yesterday he started worrying about not being able to work for months, remembering his last shoulder injury.

As per his usual he would not let me touch it for the first few days then he finally allowed me to put on The Dr Christophers Cayenne Heat ointment. Then two days ago he allowed me to put the rub on, on the front side of his shoulder, cover it with a moist warm washcloth and apply a hot water bottle for 15 minute treatments. This provides MOISIT deep heat. We did this three times a day with positive results each time and last night we also did the backside of his shoulder and lower back because that was starting to ache too from walking bent over and favoring incorrect postures.

This morning things are greatly improved with increased range of motion and much less pain. He didn't even want to take ibuprofen but I made him take it anyway to try to keep the inflammation from returning if things are not well enough healed. We plan to repeat the process again today

If I had it I would have added the bone and tissue repair rub too, but as it is things are moving forward.

Thanks - my shoulder is greatly improved. I did order both rubs and an extra set of both for my daughter. I've used the Cayenne Ointment on my shoulder and felt relief right away. Haven't tried the Complete Tissue & Bone yet due to having some cuts on my hand, (no rubber gloves around here) but will as soon as there are no more scratches. Appreciate the advice.
