Kudos to your son for speaking out. I hope this has a positive outcome for both him and the soldiers.

They need to send Chef Gordon Ramsey in there to clean that operation up! I can just imagine the language coming out of his mouth at the sight of that! Not sure if the language or the vegetables would be more foul.

I couldn't see the "after" pics, but the before pics.... I wouldn't feed them to my pigs, I would be afraid to make them sick!

Hopefully this is an isolated incident. Most of the workers are not American they are contracted for dollars a day and they have significantly less food standards where they are from. My husband has been to many areas in Iraq and the food is not great but has been nothing like what you are showing. As we all know with all government agencies there is a lot of oversight, especially with contractors so hopefully you will be heard and things will change.
Being 120 degrees there in the summer so I am sure that it would not take long to get to that point of molding for most foods.
I am just going to say this, I hope this does not offend and I understand we want the best for our kids and soldiers especially while they are away risking their lives for this country but my husband had his favorite coffee (Green Beans coffee company, like Starbucks) everyday, lobster and steak many times a week, ton's of fried comfort foods, free ice cream and milkshakes are available to them and ate the local cuisine all the time.
